The Attitude and tools You Need for Success!

Attitude’s Influence on success:

This is true not only of financial or professional success but this concept also plays out in our relationships.

Having a positive attitude has been a vitally important element in my own personal happiness and fulfillment.

The first part that anyone needs to understand about a good attitude is that it is NOT a product of how you feel. Waiting until you have good positive feelings about something, someone, or yourself will never happen with enough regularity for you to accomplish what you want out of life.

Attitude is a DECISION! Plain and simple!

The Positive Effect:

Conflict must be handled in a positive and constructive way as if to get to the bottom of the problem and reach a solution. This, instead of demanding your way or getting your feelings hurt.

Make the decision that you will not be offended or be negative. Make this decision when you are thinking clearly and are level headed- Before you encounter a problem. If you do fail and become negative, don't give up just make the effort to try harder next time. It takes practice, just like anything else.

How does this relate to audio?

Naturally, because all is hush- hush concerning audio technology, consumers are rightfully intimidated.

If you have read any answers to forum questions about audio or home theater you will see evidence of the negative attitudes that I am speaking of.

Forum responses like “that will be too difficult”, or “If you are an advanced speaker builder you might be able to do that.”

Granted, as a whole I would say that audio enthusiast are a positive group, but most consumers just getting started in the field could be discouraged from a response such as this.

I think people assume that speaker building and home theater building is a task left only for engineers and pro installers. I agree with this - if education is not part of the equation.

The fact is that you can easily learn the information that these installers and engineers have. It is NOT as complicated as some make it seem.

Have you ever won the Lottery?

When and not if you squandered that money away, you would have no chance of ever getting it back besides winning another lottery. If the global market completely crashed and the millions you won were suddenly worth pennies what could you do?

But if you build a hobby or a business from scratch, even if it was all taken from you or you lost it, you could build it all back because you would know exactly what to do the second time.

And, you could build it back much quicker because you would have experience to draw from.

Life is not a lottery! Don't hope for handouts.

Could you see Yourself Owning a Business?

It is important to remember: THAT specific memory is not a failure but a step that will send you closer to your goal. That step could even be seen as a mini success. You learned how not to do it! Good JOB!

Now try again! But this time - educate yourself first, and then try again, and again, and again! Soon you realize the failures don’t even matter, they are merely steps to achieving the goal.

It took me a long time to realize that my failures in business were not failures at all, but merely EXPERIENCE that I gained along the way.

Most people would love to own their own business. Most would love to have a website too.

Why?

Because, building an online business is NOT easy.

Building a successful website takes time, energy and motivation. And because of this - many have given up. Some of you will try and give up. And, some of you will try, never give up and be incredibly successful!

What you need to realize is that this is a series of choices and not a game of luck. The first choice in any business that absolutely must be made is: to BEGIN!

Summary:

Make the decision to be a success at whatever you set in your mind to try. Whether that is building a set of speakers or if you are planning to build a website. Vow to succeed!
